As an accomplished attorney and former City Council President, Mike Fenton brings the legal expertise, impartiality, and proven judgment that the Governor's Council demands.
Mike is a graduate of Western New England University School of Law where he served as a member of the Law Review and earned his Masters of Business Administration. His practice involves representing principals in business formation and succession planning, businesses in the purchase and sale of enterprises, lenders and borrowers in commercial financing transactions, developers in the acquisition and permitting of projects, and individuals in establishing comprehensive and sophisticated estate plans. He regularly represents businesses, lenders, and individuals throughout Hampden, Hampshire, Franklin, and Berkshire County.
Mike's Mission
My only goal in public service is to improve our corner of the world. I have started my family here, just like my parents and their parents before them, and I only want this place to succeed. The Governor's Council plays a critical role in ensuring that our courts and institutions are led by qualified, fair-minded individuals — and I am committed to bringing that same standard of integrity to District 8.
“I care deeply about our community and believe in answering the call to serve government when you have the ability to meaningfully contribute. That is why I am in this race – I have something to offer and I believe I can make a difference by serving in this unique role.””
